Steps to Follow for Workers' Compensation Injuries
- Report injury to supervisor as soon as possible.
- Notify 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Workers’ Comp office immediately. The 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Workers’ Comp representative will assist employee in obtaining necessary medical treatment from a qualified doctor or medical clinic. The 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Workers’ Comp office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. and 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Friday. (Summer hours Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., closed Fridays)
If an injury occurs after regular business hours the employee may go to a hospital emergency room or a medical clinic for immediate medical treatment. Employee should report the injury to the 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Workers’ Comp office the following workday.
- Employee must complete the yellow form and return it to the 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Workers’ Comp Office within 24 hours of injury.
- The Principal, Director or Supervisor must complete the blue form and return the form to the 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Workers’ Compensation office within 48 hours of employee's injury.
- The injured employee can seek medical treatment for their work injury from a provider that accepts Workers' Compensation, Care Now or RediMD Telemedicine.
