    Dear Families,

In January 2021, Birdville ISD applied for the Cycle 11 Grant (administered by the Texas Education Agency and funded federally through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant (21st CCLC Grant)) which funds the ASPIRE program on your student’s campus. 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ was not chosen to receive the competitive 21st CCLC Grant.

Therefore, beginning with the 2021–22 school year, we are not able to offer the ASPIRE before- and after-school program (as we have in years past) at the schools listed below:

    • Jack C. Binion Elementary
    • Birdville Elementary
    • Major Cheney Hills Elementary
    • W.T. Francisco Elementary
    • Grace E. Hardeman Elementary
    • John D. Spicer Elementary
    • The Academy at C.F. Thomas Elementary
    • Watauga Elementary
    • West Birdville Elementary

The District is in the process of planning after-school tutoring sessions to replace the ASPIRE after-school program. Parents will be notified regarding the tutoring program prior to school starting.
