  • Haltom High School Wind Ensemble

    Recognized Haltom High School’s Wind Ensemble for being selected as a Texas Music Educators Association 6A Honor Band finalist. Directors are Donnie Hull, Terri Clemons, Caleb Santacruz, Preston Rice, and Jazper Saldana. 

    Roll Call

    Recognized Roll Call of North Texas for their ongoing partnership with Richland Middle School. They partner with the school to educate students about U.S. military history and coordinate a birthday card mailing to soldiers and veterans. 

    White's Chapel Church

    Recognized White’s Chapel Methodist Church for their ongoing partnership and support of Stowe and Hardeman elementary schools. They provide support and resources for students and staff at these campuses. 

    Birdville Baptist Church

    Recognized Birdville Baptist Church for their ongoing partnership and support of Birdville Elementary School. They provide support and resources for students and staff at this campus. 

Summary of Actions

  • Approved the donations from: 

    • Richland Touchdown Club to Richland High School football; and
    • Susan White to Richland High School. 

    Approved the 2024–25 District Improvement Plan Goals and Objectives.  

    Approved the School Resource Officer (SRO) Shared Services Agreement with the city of Haltom City. 

    Approved the School Resource Officer (SRO) Shared Services Agreement with the city of North Richland Hills. 

    Approved the Campus Security Officer Shared Services Agreement with the city of North Richland Hills. 

    Approved budget amendments. 

Public Hearing

  • Conducted a hearing for the 2023–24 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report.?91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ received the highest rating available, Superior?Achievement.

Bids/Contracts/Final Payments Awarded

  • Approved the bids/purchases for: 

    • Electrical parts, supplies and service from multiple vendors;
    • Plumbing services and supplies from multiple vendors;
    • HVAC services and supplies from multiple vendors;
    • Facilities maintenance contracted services and supplies from multiple vendors; and
    • Fleet vehicle maintenance services and supplies from multiple vendors. 

     Approved the contract from: 

    • Merakey for special education services for a student (renewal); and 
    • Lee Lewis Construction, Inc. for 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Plaza phase one renovations and Richland High School baseball/softball parking lot expansion.  

     Approved the purchase for: (Funds come from Bond 2022 funds)

    • Buses from Thomas Bus Gulf Coast GP, Inc. 

    Approved the final payment to:?

    • Goldsmith Construction Company Inc. for the installation of emergency egress gates at elementary campuses.
