Partners in Education Recognition

Recognized Academy 4 for their partnership with various Birdville ISD campuses. They provide mentors to every fourth grade student at Binion, Cheney Hills, Mullendore, Watauga and West Birdville elementary schools.

Recognized Richland High School’s Royal Band for being selected as a Texas Music Educators Association 5A Honor Band finalist. Directors are Mike Pickrell, Anthony Rivera, Peyton Grunzke and Nathan Hawk.
Recognized Birdville, Haltom, and Richland high schools for being named in the U.S. News & World Report's 2023–24 Best High Schools rankings. These schools have demonstrated exceptional educational quality, earning their place among the best U.S. high schools at both the state and national levels. Tim Drysdale, Birdville High principal; Dr. Kristi Strickland, Haltom High principal; and Kyle Pekurney, Richland High principal, were recognized.

Approved revisions to Board Policy FC (LOCAL) School Attendance Areas. This change is necessary since W.T. Francisco Elementary has been combined with David E. Smith Elementary.
Approved the 2023–24 District Improvement Plan Goals and Objectives.
Approved the District’s Concussion Oversight Team (COT). Team members are:? Dr.?Damond Blueitt, Adrian Rosales, Brandon Stafford, and Jared Whitmire.
Approved additional Texas Teacher Evaluation & Support System (T-TESS) appraisers for 2023–24.
Approved additional Texas Principal Evaluation & Support System (T-PESS) appraisers for 2023–24.
Approved the interlocal agreement with Central Texas Purchasing Alliance.
