    Compass Church

    Compass Church, was recognized as an active business partner with Foster Village Elementary. The church provides weekend food bags that serve over 200 students each week.

  • Track and Field State Winners

    Quinn Dixon and Paul Roswell, Birdville High School students, were recognized for qualifying for the 2022 Cross Country UIL Regional and State meets. Eddie Brown is the cross country coach for Birdville High.

  • Approved the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Policy Update 119. Update 119 reflects changes in the law based upon recent administrative law and court decisions. Revisions were made to policies:?

    • EHAA (LOCAL) Basic Instructional Program: Required Instruction (All Levels) [replace] 
    • EHBB (LOCAL) Special Programs: Gifted and Talented Students [replace] 
    • EIF (LOCAL) Academic Achievement: Graduation [replace] 
    • FFBA (LOCAL) Crisis Intervention: Trauma-Informed Care [replace] 
    • FFH (LOCAL) Student Welfare: Freedom from Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation [replace] 
     
    Approved revisions to Board Policy CKC (LOCAL) Safety Program/Risk Management: Emergency Plans and DH (LOCAL) Employee Standards of Conduct. 

    Approved the architectural design contracts for 2022 Bond projects. 

    Approved the 2022 tax roll. 

    Approved the resolution approving the requirements of the Public Funds Investment Act. 

    Approved budget amendments. 

    Approved the annual financial report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.
