  • Holiday Greeting Card Winners

    Lanah Phan, Birdville High School sophomore, was recognized as 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾’s 2019 Holiday Card Contest winner; Ashley Gutierrez, Birdville High School junior, was recognized as the second-place winner; and Lauren Haight, Birdville High School sophomore, was recognized as the third-place winner. 

Summary of Actions

  • Approved the waiver application for the Early Childhood Prekindergarten program. 

    Approved the Order for Issuance of 91ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÍøÕ¾ Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds, Series 2020. 

    Approved the Foreign Trade Zone Exemption and related PILOT agreement with Allied Electronics. 

    Approved the Student Health Advisory Committee members. 

    Approved budget amendments.

  • Approved the request for sanctions of teacher certificate for abandonment of contract. 

Bids Awarded

  • Approved the bid/purchase for: 

    • Professional development from International Center for Leadership in Education. 

    Approved the bid/purchase for: (Monies for these projects will come from 2018 Bond funds.)

    • Roofing at Francisco Elementary from Progressive Roofing. 

    Approved the interlocal agreements with: 

    • Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative for Child Nutrition purchases; and 
    • GoodBuy Purchasing Cooperative.
