    Monday  (Theme: “Red Ribbon Day!”/Wear Red)

      • Red Ribbon Week Kick-Off will begin with morning announcements supporting the Red Ribbon Week theme.
      • All students and staff will receive a red ribbon to wear all week.
      • Front doors will be decorated with large red bows.
      • Students and staff are encouraged to support the theme and wear red clothing.
      • There will be a week-long activity pledging to “Live Drug Free” by creating and signing a poster.
      • Red Ribbon Week bookmarks and coloring sheets will be distributed to classes.
      • Classes will participate in a Red Ribbon Week Door/Wall Decorating Contest. Winner receives an ice cream party.

     

    Tuesday  (Theme: “Leave Drugs In The Past!”/Favorite Past Decade Day)

      • Morning announcements will support the Red Ribbon Week theme.
      • Students and staff are encouraged to wear their red ribbon.
      • Students and staff are encouraged to dress in support of the daily theme by dressing   up like their favorite past decade – 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s.
      • Students pledge to “Live Drug Free” by signing the Red Ribbon poster.

     

    Wednesday  (Theme: “Send Drugs Packing!”/Travel And Tacky Tourist Day)

      • Morning announcements will support the Red Ribbon Week theme.
      • Students and staff are encouraged to wear their red ribbon.
      • Students and staff are encouraged to dress in support of the daily theme by wearing a shirt from a travel destination or dress as a tacky tourist.
      • Students pledge to “Live Drug Free” by signing the Red Ribbon poster.

     

    Thursday  (Theme: “Put A Cap On Drugs!”/Favorite Cap Day)

      • Morning announcements will support the Red Ribbon Week theme.
      • Students and staff are encouraged to wear their red ribbon.
      • Students and staff are encouraged to dress in support of the daily theme by wearing their favorite cap.
      • Students pledge to “Live Drug Free” by signing the Red Ribbon poster.
      • Campus Trunk or Treat Event - Encouraging students to say “Boo to Drugs!” Students and their families are invited out for an evening of fun, treats, and resources from the trunks of our staff and community organizations.

    Friday  (“Don’t Sleep On Your Dreams, Put Drugs To Sleep!”/Pajama Day)

      • Morning announcements will support the Red Ribbon Week theme.
      • Students and staff are encouraged to wear their red ribbon.
      • Students and staff are encouraged to dress in support of the daily theme by wearing school appropriate pajamas.
      • Students pledge to “Live Drug Free” by signing the Red Ribbon poster.
      • Red Ribbon Door/Wall Decorating Contest winners will be announced and they will have an ice cream party.
      • There will be guest speakers for Drug Prevention & Awareness every Friday in October.
