Forensic science is any science used for the purposes of the law, and therefore provides impartial scientific evidence for use in the courts of law, in criminal investigations and in criminal trials. Forensic science class is a multidisciplinary subject, drawing principally from chemistry and biology, but also from physics, geology, psychology, social science, and more. This course will introduce you to the science that is used in forensics and help you understand what careers in this field look like and require educationally. It is a lab based course requiring many hands on labs completed with your assigned CSI Team. If you are a fan of CSI shows and have an inquisitive mind, this is the class for you!
You can earn your fourth required science credit for graduation.
Prerequisites: Successfully completed Biology & Chemistry, be concurrently enrolled in or completed Physics
